PRIMER priming agent beneath plasters and paints

USE

The product is used for priming of walls and ceilings indoors prior to application of plasters or paints.

Place of use: walls and ceilings indoors.

Types of substrate: plaster, concrete, stone, plasterboards, wood-like boards and any other sound, clean and appropriately prepared substrate.

PROPERTIES

PRIMER is manufactured on the basis of water dispersion of an acrylic resin.

Unifies and reduces the substrate absorptiveness.

Fast – drying – top coats can be applied just after 2 hours.

Solvent – free.

Easy in use.

Colourless after drying.

Water vapour permeable.

PRIMING

Substrate preparation:

The substrate should be dry, free of dust, dirt, oils, grease and wax. Any loosening, poorly bonded layers should be removed before the emulsion application.

Emulsion preparation:

The product is delivered ready to use. Mix well before use.

Priming:

Apply the undiluted product with a single, thin, uniform coat. Use a roller, a paintbrush or a sprayer.

Surface use:

Painting, wallpapering, tiling, etc. can commence when the emulsion dries. The primer should form matt surface.

COVERAGE

Coverage: approx. 8-10 m²/ 1 l of primer depending on the substrate absorptiveness.

 

TECHNICAL DATA

PRIMER: maximum content of VOC in the product 1.80 g/l, allowable VOC content: 30 g/l.

Density: approx. 1.0 g/cm³

Temperature of use: from +5 °C to +25 °C

Commencement of further applications: after approx. 2 h*

*Time recommended for application in temperature approx. 23°C and humidity 55%; in lower temperature and higher humidity time can extend.

 

The product has been given the Hygienic Attest.

IMPORTANT ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

When priming gypsum substrates before painting, one should follow guidelines of the paint manufacturer.

Protect any neighbouring surfaces with foil before the emulsion application. Hard to remove after drying.

Clean the tools with clean water directly after use.

Keep out of reach of children. Avoid contact with skin and eyes. Follow the instructions of the Safety Data Sheet.

The emulsion must be transported and stored in tightly sealed original and labeled containers. Keep in dry and cool places, protect against overheating (> 30 °C) and freezing - the product freezes and irreversibly loses its performance in temperature below 0 °C. Protect against direct sunlight. Shelf life in conditions as specified is 12 months from the production date shown on the packaging.
