Product preparation
The dry product should be mixed with water, keep the ratio 1.5 – 1.75 l of water for 5 kg of dry plaster (0.3-0.35 l of water for 1 kg of dry plaster).
Leave the mixed mass in a closed package for 24 h, re-mix then. One can add a little bit of water in order to reach the preferred consistency.
Colouring
Product of defined colour.
Plastering
Plan the order and way of application before work, check the final effect on a small sample first!
The CONCRETE plaster is applied with two coats. Apply the first coat smooth, keep the coat thickness same as the grain size, leave to dry completely (12-24 h, depending on temperature and humidity in a room).
Slightly moist the whole decorated surface with water before application of the second coat. Apply the second coat evenly upon the whole decorated surface. The drying plaster should be troweled with the flat-applied trowel edge. When troweling, the plaster pores get sealed and characteristic surface smoothness forms.
Depending on the intended top finish (delicate or intensive multiple polishing with a trowel), the smooth, matt or satin glossy surface forms.
Individual, scattered scores and gaps make the concrete surface more decorative. Remember to keep the trowel edge perfectly clean during work.

CONSUMPTION

Average consumption: 0.9 kg of dry mix for 1 m² for a single coat. Note that the coverage depends on substrate texture, absorptiveness and preparation, intended decorative effect, installer’s experience, coat thickness, number of coats, application method. In order to check the actual coverage for particular conditions, one should apply a sample upon the actual substrate first.
